rocky's matcha Single Cultivar Okumidori is a ceremonial grade matcha sourced from Osada Tea from tencha grown in Kagoshima, Japan. Single cultivar matcha is derived from a single varietal of tea plant, grown in a region that specializes in a slower harvest, a process that gives each cultivar its own distinct character. Okumidori, meaning "deep green," lives up to its name in the leaf's vibrant, glossy color. It's smooth and mellow, with a gentle sweetness, soft umami, and very little astringency – perfect for koicha, a thicker style of matcha preparation. <b
